The process of doing so involves following the normal purchase process that is applicable to registering a company limited by shares.
Once payment has been confirmed, and the required logging in to the company administration section has been completed, it is merely a matter of making the selection to change the company type.
On entering the next screen choose company limited by guarantee and then submit. The new company type then appears towards the top right hand side of the pre-registration details screen.
Customers should note that it is impossible to change a company limited by shares to one by guarantee once the application has been sent to Companies House.
