Company Appointments

The facilities to make the company appointments for director, secretary and subscriber can be accessed by clicking on third link on the left hand side.

A subscriber is another name for a shareholder.

All private limited companies require that each of these positions is filled and a successful business incorporation will only occur once this has been completed.

On clicking on the link, a page similar to the one here will be displayed and in order to make one the required appointments, you should enter through the area which is highlighted.

Another screen appears as shown here and you should take a moment to read the text before proceeding.

Appointment Type

This area requires you to choose the type of appointment you wish to make.

Our system allows you to appoint a person or company as a director, secretary and subscriber at the same time if you wish to do this.

Action Point:
Click on the appropriate box or boxes which correspond with the type of appointment you wish to make.

If, for example, you wanted to appoint someone as a director and shareholder, you would make sure that both of these boxes are ticked.

Person or Company

The area requires that you specific whether or not the appointee is a person (man or woman) or another company.

If is possible for one company to be a director, secretary or shareholder of another company, but not of itself.

Action Point
Depending on whether your appointee is a person or a company, choose the appropriate box by clicking on it.

Depending on whether you selected a person or a company, read the following further guidance located on the right hand side of the page.
