- Internet Explorer is by far the most popular internet browser currently available. It is automatically installed as part of any of the current Microsoft Windows operating systems with in themselves, are in large distribution. The currently versions of internet explorer are available for Microsoft Vista and Windows XP and can be downloaded or ordered via CD from the above link.
- Morzilla Firefox is the main alternative to Internet Explorer and is also available free via the download link. The Firefox browser is viewed by some a more secure although this might be due to it not having the same high levels of attention and scrutiny which its main rival has. There are various plug-ins available including themes and search engines.
- Netscape Navigator offers a cross platform browser suitable for Windows, Mac OS and Linux machines. The browser main focus is that of integration providing means to vote on websites visited and to have access to real-time news without having to search for it. Netscape also provides some compatibility with Firefox add-ons and extensions.
