Irfanview
Irfanview is a multi format freeware graphics viewer capable of reading over 60 different types of picture and video files. In addition, it also allows for the alteration of colour density and clarity, picture size and has a range of effects to change the way an individual picture looks. A scanning interface is available to batch scan images and to either store them locally or email them directly from the program.
AlternaTiff
AlternaTiff is a completely licence free application for viewing images from directly within an internet browser. The feature list of this application is extensive and includes the ability to zoom in on graphics and also the guild to a certain section of a picture. Files can be saved to the hard drive, printed or copied to another application for editing. There are advanced settings for those wanting to become more involved the precise presentation and alteration of images and these include scripting and interaction with other programs resident on the local or network computer.
Brava Reader
Brava Reader is an easy to use free application used top preview and print TIF, PDF and other graphics and file formats. There are additional add-ons for both Mozilla Firefox and Netscape Navigator internet browsers as well as an advanced API programming functionality. Another viewer available from the same company is Free DWG which allows the viewing of AutoCAD files typically used in high end imagery software.
