Group of Persons or Individuals - Sensitive Word Template

The following letter could be used to provide Companies House with details as to the reasons why persons forming a company with the word Group in the company name, might wish to use that sensitive word. This document relates to a group of individuals and not a group of companies.

Company Name

Worchester Town
Worchester

To Companies House:

Companies House Application for the use of the Reserved (Sensitive) Word Group in the Company Name.

Sensitive Word LIMITED (Your Company Name)

We are in the process of forming a company with the above name and this letter is to justify the use of the sensitive (reserved) word 'GROUP'.

The company name does not refer to a parent/subsidiary relationship between different companies, but to the fact that a group of individuals/ persons are getting together as professionals, forming a “working group”, in order to offer their professional consultancy services.

We hope this explanation allows for the use of the sensitive (reserved) word Group in our company name.

Yours faithfully

Donald Small
